David is Chairman and a founding Partner of Quartz Properties. He has led an incredible career as a founder of and investor in private companies and a financial services executive. For over 20 years, David built and managed real estate finance businesses both for Bayview Asset Management in Miami and for Lehman Brothers in New York. He is a founding shareholder of ImmunoTek BioCenters, a healthcare real estate development firm, OrganaBio an innovative stem cell focused bio tech services company, and is the founder and chairman of Children’s Wellness Fund, a 501(c)3 operating foundation focused on rural poverty in Latin America. He received a BS in Physics from UC San Diego an MBA from Wharton.

Joanna is Chief Executive Officer and a founding Partner of Quartz Properties. She has an impressive 20-year career that spans commercial real estate finance, real estate technology and entrepreneurial innovation. Prior to launching Quartz, Joanna was the CEO of EarlyShares.com, a leading online commercial real estate investing platform, and the Managing Director of Silver Hill Financial, a small-balance commercial mortgage lender. Joanna led Silver Hill from inception to over $1B in annual origination volume, and was honored as Business Woman of the Year by South Florida Business Journal. She is a two-time past chair of YPO Miami, holds a BA with honors from University of Vermont and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

David is Chief Growth Officer and a founding Partner of Quartz Properties. An active participant in the real estate capital markets throughout his 25-year career, David has held executive positions at NYSE-listed financial services companies and launched businesses. Before co-founding Quartz, David was an executive at DebtX, the leading secondary market for mortgage debt, where he created and led their commercial lending platform. Prior to DebtX, David spent over a decade at real estate finance institutions including PNC Bank, Fannie Mae and State Street. He received his BA from Tufts University and MBA from Georgetown University.

Michelle is Quartz Properties’ Vice President of Finance and Administration. She brings over 25 years of experience in real estate finance and development. Prior to joining Quartz, Michelle served as a Business Development Officer, originating, and closing leasing and sales on behalf of a property owner and operator with over 10 million sq. ft. of properties under management. Michelle established her own financial advisory firm working with real estate developers and investors, including Liberty Mutual. Additionally, Michelle led portfolio management for CRIC Capital, a national re-seller of single-tenant net leased portfolios. Michelle earned her real estate brokers license, a BBA from the University of Michigan, and an MBA in finance with a concentration in real estate from DePaul University.

Doug is Executive Vice President of Quartz Modular, Quartz Properties' construction subsidiary. Doug brings over 25 years of senior construction management and operations experience to Quartz Modular. He has held leadership positions in several organizations across the country, including Senior Vice President of Construction at Bettr Homes, General Manager for Zillow Offers, and National Director for IFM Restoration. He also served as Senior Director of Invitation Homes, a portfolio company of The Blackstone Group, where he oversaw the rehab, turns, and maintenance of over 16,000 homes. He is a licensed General Contractor in multiple states and a veteran of the Armed Forces.

Jarrett is the General Manager of Quartz Transport, Quartz Properties' transport and install subsidiary. Jarrett brings over 15 years of experience in operations, process, and business management to his role at Quartz Transport. He previously worked in the investing, insurance, mortgage, and tech industries in various managerial roles aimed at optimizing operational efficiency, automation, continuous improvement, and scaling operations for growth. Most recently he served as Mortgage Operations Manager with fintech firm Credible, and Sales Operations Manager at tech-driven real estate services company, Spruce. He received his Bachelor's degree from Clemson University.

Jamie is Vice President of Quartz Modular, Quartz Properties' construction subsidiary. Jamie brings over 20 years of experience as a professional residential and commercial General Contractor. Throughout his career Jamie spent multiple years on modular home construction, focused on delivering value, quick completion, and extraordinary quality. Jamie’s work has been featured in the Asheville Parade of Homes and HGTV. Jamie served in the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm and has been a coach in youth and high school sports for over 25 years.

Matt is Quartz Properties’ Development Manager. Matt has gained vast experience in real estate development over his 25-year career. Prior to joining Quartz Matt worked for a series of private developers and the CGL Companies where he acted as program manager, responsible for developing large projects in municipalities across the Southeast. Matt received his BS in engineering from The Ohio State University and served in the US Air Force for ten years.

Stephanie is Project Coordinator at Quartz Properties. Stephanie brings extensive knowledge of modular home construction to Quartz. Throughout her decade long career, she has overseen project timelines, managed ordering processes, and developed strategic relationships across the industry. Prior to joining Quartz, Stephanie gained experience at the large national home builder, Cardinal, as well as other smaller construction firms.

Lauren is the Marketing Manager at Quartz Properties. She brings over a decade of marketing experience from a diverse background in professional services. Throughout her career she has led brand management, digital marketing strategy and implementation, website development, and public relations efforts. Prior to joining Quartz, Lauren oversaw marketing strategy as a Creative Marketing Manager for CRE firm Jamestown. Prior, she supported marketing efforts at Bank of America and Main Street Hospitality Group. Lauren received her BA in Communications with honors from Loyola University Maryland.

Prior to joining Quartz, Ryan completed an internship as a Property Development Intern for JBrown International in London, England.

Paula is an Administrative Assistant at Quartz Properties where she supports the finance team in preparing vendor payments and collaborates with onsite teams to facilitate billing. Paula also manages day-to-day office operations. She brings over 20 years of experience to her position, the past ten of which has been spent supporting executive teams in the construction industry. Previously, Paula worked as an assistant to the Project Manager and as a liaison with clients, organizing appointments and aiding with selections. Paula is currently studying to get her license as a real estate agent..

Celine brings real estate knowledge and client relations expertise to Quartz Modular where she successfully assists construction executives and community tenants.
